1.1. Registration for the Championship opens on December 15, 2025.
1.2. The Competition Period runs from December 26, 2025 to January 10, 2026.
1.3. The Final Sprint phase begins on January 6, 2026.
1.4. Winners will be announced on January 13, 2026.
1.5. The Company reserves the right to extend or shorten the Championship Period at its sole discretion.
2.1. The Championship consists of ONE competition track:
2.2. Only verified JP Markets clients with live accounts are eligible to participate.
2.3. Each client may only enter once with their verified trading account.
3.1. Live Account Championship eligibility requirements:
3.2. The following persons are expressly EXCLUDED from participation:
• Employees, directors, and officers of JP Markets SA (Pty) Ltd
• Immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings) of excluded persons
• Any person residing in the same household as excluded persons
• Persons from jurisdictions where such competitions are prohibited by law
• U.S. investors or persons in jurisdictions where JP Markets services are not available
4.2. All trades must be executed on the participant’s verified live account and:
4.3. Minimum Volume Requirement – The minimum $1,000,000 USD traded volume requirement ensures meaningful participation and prevents micro abuse or one-off speculative trades. This threshold is accessible while maintaining competition integrity.
5.1. Participants are ranked based on their total USD traded volume during the competition period. The trader with the highest total USD traded volume at the end of the competition will be ranked first.
Total USD Traded Volume = Sum of all closed trade values in USD during the competition period
5.2. This scoring method ensures fair competition regardless of account size.
5.3. Only CLOSED trades executed during the competition period are included in the volume calculation. Hedged or offset positions (opposite positions on the same instrument) are excluded from volume calculation to prevent artificial inflation.
5.4. To be eligible for prizes, participants must finish the competition period with a positive net PnL (in profit). Traders who finish with a negative PnL (in loss) are not eligible for prizes regardless of their volume ranking. This ensures that winners demonstrate both trading activity AND profitable trading skills.
5.5. The leaderboard will be updated regularly throughout the Competition Period.
6.1. Live Account Championship prizes:
6.2. Total prize pool value: R 50 000
6.3. Each participant is eligible to win a MAXIMUM of ONE (1) prize.
6.4. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except as provided in Section 7.
7.1. Prize Delivery:
• Physical prizes will be shipped to the winner's verified residential address
• Shipping is available within South Africa, Namibia, and Swaziland
• Shipping timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed
• The Company is not liable for delays, loss, or damage during shipping
7.2. Prize Substitution:
• If a prize is unavailable due to supply constraints or discontinuation, the Company may substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion
• Winners may opt to receive the equivalent prize value as a credit to their trading account
• Account credits will be applied within five (5) business days of winner confirmation
7.3. Tax Liability:
• ALL taxes, duties, levies, and other governmental charges related to prize receipt are the SOLE responsibility of the winner
• Winners may be required to complete tax documentation before prize release
8.1. Winner Selection Process:
• Winners will be determined based on their final USD traded volume ranking at the conclusion of the Competition Period, subject to meeting minimum volume requirements ($1M USD) and finishing with a positive net PnL
8.2. Winner Notification:
• Winners will be announced publicly during January 2026
• Winners will be notified via their registered email address within five (5) business days
• Winners must respond within fourteen (14) calendar days to claim their prize
• Failure to respond within the specified timeframe will result in prize forfeiture
8.3. Winner Verification:
• Winners must verify their identity and account ownership before prize release
• The Company reserves the right to request additional documentation
• Prizes will not be released until verification is complete
9.1. The Company reserves the absolute right to:
• Amend, modify, suspend, or terminate the Championship at any time
• Disqualify any participant for violation of these Terms
• Disqualify any participant engaging in fraudulent, manipulative, or abusive trading behavior
• Modify prize offerings, values, or substitutions
• Extend or shorten the Competition Period
• Make final and binding decisions on all matters relating to the Championship
9.2. Anti-Fraud and Abuse:
• The Company employs sophisticated monitoring systems to detect fraudulent activity
• Any attempt to manipulate rankings through wash trading, account collusion, or other prohibited activities will result in immediate disqualification
• The Company may suspend or terminate trading accounts found engaging in fraudulent activity
10.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company SHALL NOT be liable for:
• Technical failures, system errors, or connectivity issues affecting participation
• Trading losses incurred during the Competition Period
• Delays, loss, or damage to prizes during shipping or delivery
• Quality, performance, or suitability of prizes for any particular purpose
• Tax liabilities or governmental charges incurred by winners
• Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from Championship participation
10.2. Force Majeure:
• The Company is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control
10.3. Prizes are provided "AS IS" without any warranties, express or implied.
11.1. This Championship is conducted in accordance with South African law and regulations.
11.2. The Company operates under the supervision of the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) as an authorized ODP (FSP No. 46855).
11.3. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
11.4. Any disputes arising from this Championship shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
11.5. This Championship is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
11.6. JP Markets SA (Pty) Ltd only offers services in South Africa, Namibia and Swaziland.
12.1. By participating, winners consent to the use of their name, city of residence, and photograph for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
12.2. Leaderboard rankings may display masked participant identifiers publicly.
12.3. All participant data will be handled in accordance with the Company's Privacy Policy and applicable data protection regulations.
